BRENTWOOD — Liberty Playmakers presents “The Arabian Nights” through Sept. 18 at Allen E. Jones Performing Arts Center at Liberty High School, 850 Second St. At the focus of the classic story is Shahryzar, an Arabian king, who, because of an unfaithful wife, marries a new woman each evening and sentences her to death at sunrise. Sharhrazad, the Vizier’s daughter, marries Shahryzar, and, in hopes of making him fall in love, tells him a new story each night. Shahrazad is a clever woman, but only fate will tell if her charm and stories of love, courage, luck and faithfulness will be enough to win the king’s heart and save her life.
