This is the second year the town-sponsored Fourth of July festivities have been held at Oak Meadow. The event moved to the park last year because Los Gatos High School’s front lawn was not available for the Wind Symphony concert. “Hopefully they’ll bring more speakers because the audience is quite a bit further away from us,” Harris said. “But we love the park and we’re adjusting to the change of venue.”. The change of venue, however, means there is one more family-friendly activity going on throughout the day: The Billy Jones “Wildcat” Railroad and the W.E. “Bill” Mason Carousel will be running from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The snack shack will also offer a limited Fourth of July menu from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
