Clayton Theatre Company has put together “A Trip Down Broadway,” which runs Oct. 8-18 at Endeavor Hall, 6008 Center St. in Clayton. “We listened to our audience about what type of show they wanted,” says Managing Director Roxanne Pardi. “The consensus was a musical revue, so artistic director LaTonya Watts and I picked songs and dances from some of our favorite shows.” Songs include “Chicago,” “Ease on Down the Road,” “Dancing Queen,” and many more. Fifty percent of the ticket sales on Oct. 9 will go to the Rett Syndrome Organization, which provides funding for research for treatments and a cure for this neurological disorder that occurs almost exclusively in girls and leads to severe impairments. It is very common in nonprofits to move out and move up. It is the nature of organizations. I like change, thrive in change, an upward trajectory.”.
